SMS Consent Process
Last updated: July 26, 2026
Program scope
MissedMe LLC sends low-volume, one-to-one text messages only after a person separately opts in. Messages may include information requested about MissedMe services, a requested secure checkout link, or a customer-care reply. Message frequency varies and is normally no more than three messages per requested interaction. This program does not use purchased lists, scraped contacts, unsolicited cold texts, or verbal permission for recurring promotional text messages.
Website opt-in
A person may visit missedme.ai/#qualify, provide a mobile number, and voluntarily select the SMS checkbox. The checkbox is not preselected and is not required to submit the form. The checkbox states:
“Yes, MissedMe may text me about this request at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
Verbal opt-in during a live call
When a prospective or current customer asks to receive service information or a secure checkout link by text during a live call, the MissedMe representative or disclosed AI assistant uses this script before sending anything:
“Would you like MissedMe LLC to text this mobile number the [service information or secure checkout link] you requested? You may receive up to three texts related only to this request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You do not have to agree to texts to purchase; we can use another method. Terms are at missedme.ai slash terms and privacy is at missedme.ai slash privacy. Do I have your permission to send those texts to the number ending in [last four digits]?”
The recipient must clearly answer yes. Silence, an ambiguous response, providing a phone number, calling MissedMe, or agreeing to continue the voice conversation does not constitute SMS consent.
Consent records and message limits
For verbal consent, MissedMe records the call identifier, date and time, recipient number, requested message type, script version, and affirmative response. Verbal consent authorizes only the one to three messages related to that specific request. It does not authorize an ongoing promotional campaign.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, email john@missedme.ai, or call (623) 462-0164. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
